Reached the centre at 12:15 Entered DV room ,DV waale sir recognised me. I don’t know how. Aaiye Bhatia Sahab form bhariye  Aazam Khan (My city’s MLA) se milte rehte hoge.

After DV we were asked to go upstairs I was fifth in the list. The door guy called me when I was listening Kar Har Maidaan Fateh I waited for about 5 minutes outside.  Then the door opened & panelist asked door guy about the lunch.  So they went for lunch. I was looking at them wondering ki pehle mera le lete.  After lunch time, my turn was about to come when panelist called another guy over me (I don’t know why) Finally the bell rang & here me entering the room

L– aapki posting ek chote shetra mei hai ar aapko apni branch ka business expand karna hai. 50 bank accounts ka target hai.Kya karenge aap

Me– Mai market place ko target karunga ar shopkeepers ko convince karunga jisse wo current accounts khulwaye 

L- Savings account bhi chahiy. 50 zyada ho gya ek din ke liy Aap 15 savings ar 5 current khulwaiye

Me– 5 shopkeers ko convince karunga to open current accounts ar saving accounts ke benefit bhi btaunga jisse shopkeepers ke family members savings account khul sake. Kyuki generally ek family mei 4-5 members hote hi hai.

L– Types of cards btao

Me– Basically 2 type ke hote hn

Debit card mei jitna balance hota hai utna hi withdrawal

Credit card mei overdraft limit milti hai

L- Credit card kaise bechoge

Me- Is baar salaried class ko target karunga. Isse bank ko benefit hoga kyuki credit card pe bank ko interest milta hai & agar koi timely repay ni kar paaya to kaafi penalty bhi lagti hai jisse bank ko fayda hota hai

M3- Indian Economy ki sabse badi problem kya hai

Me– Farmer’s distress sabse badi problem hai.

M3– Kyu hai problem Sarkar kya kar rahi 

Me– Farmers ki income mei substancial increase ni ho ra hai jitna hona chahiye as per inflation. Sarkar ne budget mei PM Kisan Yojana shuru ki hai jisse farmers ko 6k rs direct benefit transfer se milegi 2k ki 3 installments mei.

M3– Isse dugani ni hogi income bhut km hai. Sarkar ne dugani karne ke liy kya kiya ar

Me– Budget mei hi animal husbandry waale Kisan Credit Card ko 2% interest subvention diya & timely repay karne mei extra 3% ar milega.

M3– 9% KCC. 2% km is 7 & 3% is 4%. Isse income kaha bdegi ye to kyi saal se hai.

Me– Sir ek kaam kar sakti hai sarkaar. Farmers ke land ko pool karde kyuki kaafi zyada log ek choti si zameen pe kheti karte hn. Isse income increase hogi.

M3– Ye aap cooperative farming bol rahe ho ya ______(c se kuch tha) farming. 

Me– I don’t know the type but aisa kar sakte hn farmers

M3– Cooperative se to kuch hoga ni C___ se ho sakta hai. Par farmers ko 14% real growth chahiy 4 years mei. That’s not possible. Gujarat mei isse kuch ni hua.

Me– Input Materials mei jo government subsidy deti hai, farmers ko 1 time free mei dede. 

(i was about to say about organic farming)

My name is Balaji P. I am from Chennai and I am going to share my experience which i had on 31/01/2020 at Indian Overseas bank, Central office in Chennai.

I was allotted under Panel 3 during afternoon batch and i was the 13th Candidate in that panel. The interviewer called me inside.

There were 5 members in the panel, 4 were men and 1 lady interviewer. My interview experience begin now:

Me: May I come in sir?

Panel member 1: Yes please

Me: Greeted every panel member

Panel member 1: Please sit down

Panel member 1: Please tell me about yourself

Me: I told them about where I came from, my schooling, my college and my work experience which I had for 1.5 years in IT Sector

Panel Member 1: Tell me what types of work did u perform in the company?

Me: I told them about my work (I worked under an Telecom client)

Panel member 1: Why the number of telecom players have reduced now comparing to previous years? ( As i said i worked for Telecom client, he has asked this question)

Me: Told about the large Capital bases of new telecom players which attract a lot customers and added some points, after which panel member jumped to next question)

Panel member 1: Why BSNL being a govt owned company not up to mark?

Me: Told some reforms are not implemented by govt which BSNL had suggested to govt.

(Panel member was ok with the answer. He asked other panel member to continue)

Panel member 2: How many nominees can be added in an account?

Me: More than 1 (Panel member asked whether I was sure. I said “I am sure”)

Panel member 2: No, its wrong. Only one nominee can be added. (Me: Ok sir)

Panel member 2: So, when an account holder dies whether the responsibility of a bank gets finished when it settles the amount to the nominee or whether bank plays a part in dividing it among the nominees

Me: (I had some doubt) Sir, Can i take a minute to think and tell?

Panel member 2: (Laughs) Sure..you can take a minute but not more than that as others are waiting( When he told like this,every panel member laughed and i also laughed gently)

Me:(After some Seconds) I told bank has the responsibility to divide the amount among nominees.

Panel member 2: No, bank only settles the amount to the 1st nominee.There itself,bank’s responsibility will be finished(Me: Ok sir, noted)
( He asked other panel member to continue)

Panel Member 3: Recently, banking has gone digital. But still some services are availed only if you go to bank.What are those?

Me: Loan,drawing cheque amount,Demand draft
(He was ok with the answer and asked other panel member to continue)

Panel member 4 (Lady): What are your personal qualities?

Me: I told Honesty and giving respect to everyone.( I elaborated about respecting people)

Panel member 4 (Lady): She asked what do u mean by honesty?

Me: Explained.

Panel member 4 (Lady): Which thing gave you the utmost satisfaction in life?

Me: I told that the smile of children in orphanage when we help them gave the utmost satisfaction in my life.
(She smiled and asked other member to continue)

Panel Member 5: Who is the finance minister of India?

Me: Nirmala Sitharaman

Panel Member 5: Who is the finance minister of state?

Me:(I thought he is asking our Tamilnadu’s State finance minister) I replied with Tamilnadu’s finance minister
(Panel member clarified it and asked again)

Me: Oh Sorry sir, its Anurag Thakur.

(Panel member 1 said Thank you and I also Thanked them with a smile and went out)

Overall it was a good experience. I kept smiling and maintained my composure throughout. Panel members were also very cool and calm.

Bank of India ( Noida,UP)

My reporting time was 1:00 P.M and I was allotted panel II. I arrived at the venue half an hour before the reporting time. Waited there for 15 min. After that biometric took place and then document verification. The whole procedure took hardly 10 min. We were given a half an hour tea and lunch break At 1:30 interview procedure started. I was fourth among my 25 candidates group members. My turn came and I was indicated to go inside the interview room.

M1– ok so you have done Psychology hons. Do you know about transanctional theory?
Me-Sir it is about transfer of behavior from parents to kids.
M2– Name any five government schemes related to women.
Me– Dhanya laxmi yojana, Dhan laxmi yojana, beti bachao beti pdhao, Sukanya samridhi yojana(I cant recall the fourth one)
M3– What is the difference between Make in india and made in india?
Me– Sir,Make in india involve building a product from scratch in india for example vandhe bharat express train is build under make in india initiative ( They cut me in between and asked another question)
M2– Are you sure it was made under make in india initiative
Me– Yes sir( I was confident as I have recently travelled from this train to Varanasi)
M3- who is our president?
Me- Shri Ram nath Kovind
M3-What is difference between Indian president and USA president?
Me– Power is directly vested with USA president while Indian president doesnot. President of USA is directly elected by the people while president of india is not.
M3– How is president of india is elected?
Me– Sir, Through secret ballot system. Member of lok sabha and rajya sabha and legislatives assemblies of union territories of delhi and Puducherry cast their votes.
M4– Name any five schemes related to bank.
Me– PM Jan dhan yojana, PM Atal pension Yojana, Sukanya samridhi yojana, PM Suraksha bima yojana, Stand Up scheme.
Lady- Do you know the name of the theory given by psychoanalysis?
Me– Yes mam, Its Psychoanalysis.
M1– Thankyou Kanchan. It was nice having you.

M1- So in which year you completed your graduation.
Me – Sir in 2014
M1- Then what are you doing since then, didn’t you prepared for bank exams
Me – Yes sir I prepared and also gave the interview in this same room
M1- So this means this room is lucky for you.
Me – Sir (smiling) , last  I didn’t got lucky I got rejected by 0.6 marks.
M1- So what you think your weakness was?
Me – Sir I was weak in maths and I worked on that
M1- You are confident so I think this year you will be able to clear this.
