Since you guys might have already cleared or hoping to clear SSC CGL Tier 1, therefore we are not quoting basic books like R S Agarwal or M Tyra. Now, your first step towards Tier 2 Maths must be to cover all previous year questions of SSC CGL (Specially Mains) and recently conducted Tier -1 + Tier-2 papers in online mode. This will not only cover your basics but will give you a fair idea about the type and level of questions asked in SSC CGL exams. Give more emphasis on recently conducted exams. 2) Targetted Books for SSC CGL 2018 Maths Paper:
After completing and grasping previous year question papers you should prepare through books written by subject teachers of SSC. Although these books are bit outdated, as of now there is no book available exactly the way SSC is asking questions. After grasping these books your confidence will rise and you will be able to solve even some more difficult questions. You are also requested to keep your basics clear and do not rely on shortcuts, always solve a question by basics first and then try for shortcuts if possible. practice this consistently and you may also derive your own shortcuts. Please do not try to derive short cuts while appearing for the actual exam.
